Rez week at UT

Few power statement from one of Ps. Jaeson Ma's sessions in University of Texas. its mostly stuff that has hit me hard, and convicted me of all of the stuff that i have been doing around church and CF and hospital ministry. This is what God actually wants: our whole heart.

you can watch his message videos here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0rB7Gj6ki0 or just type Jaeson Ma on youtube

  • we can give our offerings, we can take notes. But if it doesnt produce change, what's the POINT?
  • we're not called to do church, we're called to make disciples. Jesus said "I will build my church". You go and make disciples.
  • Disciple: a radical abandonment to any loyalties in your life, and give your heart in complete submission, surrender and Lordship to Jesus.
  • when we pray "Your kingdom come, Your will be done..." what are we talking or praying about? The kingdom of God is when God is king over someones heart. Now you know what you're actually praying about? Is God the king of our hearts?
  • unless we abide in the vine, everything that we do is for nothing!
  • your significance doesnt come from what you do, but from who you are. You are a beloved child of God.
  • the most fierce fighters are the most radical lovers. they dont fight because they have to fight, but because they are motivated by a passion and for a love.
  • when we're satisfied with Jesus alone, we will just be compelled to GO and love others.
  • when you make a choice to set yourself apart, God knows it, and will reveil Himself to you
